Influences: Lovin' Spoonful, Tori Amos, Danny Elfman, The Beatles, Ray Davies, although I try to write music that's really original. Music that I love listening to varies from LOVIN' SPOONFUL, Randy Newman, the Kinks, Stephane Grappelli (I love playing stuff like that on the violin!), Hank Williams, John Lennon (post-Beatles), Buddy Holly, Metallica, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Puddle of Mudd, Manu Chau, Bob Marley, Chopin, Fauré, Debussy, Rachmaninov, Scott Joplin, Gypsy Kings, Juanes, Jellyfish, Ben Folds, Harry Nilsson, Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, Rachael Portman (Soundtracks such as Chocolat, Benny and Joon), Alison Krauss - basically all the songs from "Oh Brother, where art thou?", Bryan Adams ("Have you ever really, really loved a woman?" and "Every thing I do, I do it for you") musicals such as Calamity Jane (my favourite film as a child), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, Felipe Campuzano (amazing Spanish pianist), Al Green, Stevie Wonder ("Yesterme, Yesteryou, Yesterday!"), Eric Clapton (Layla), and the list could go on and on!!
