Starship Enterprises of Atlanta founder, Lamar Huff, first opened his doors to the public in September of 1978, and in 2007, Starship will celebrate its 29th anniversary. In 1981, the company opened its second location and has consistently continued to expand, to include thirteen retail locations throughout Georgia. In 1993, the Starship Management Team decided to begin renovations on existing stores to convey a more upscale atmosphere.
