The BLEAKEST WINTER began life as the brainchild of one Trenton McHufferton, who started out writing about music in a series of self-produced fanzines. After the infamous meeting with his (at the time) rock idol Chris Carrabba, Trenton became deeply disenchanted with the music scene and set out to create something new. He changed his name to Trevor Blaze and soon hit upon the unique sound that launched his career... a "minimalist emotional hardcore power metal/ gangsta rap hybrid" called "Emohapom-Garap." And the world will never be the same...
Evan Winter
The BLEAKEST WINTER just wouldn't be the same without vociferous tough-guy Elohim Rabinovitz. Raised on the mean streets of up-state New York and Connecticut, he learned quickly that having a silver tongue only got one's shit ruined... that is, unless one could spit hot fire with impunity. After honing his skillz in the ill fated rap combo "Maniac Marionette Factory," Elohim joined forces with a then-homeless Trevor and became Evan Winter. Acting as the raging Yang to Trevor's downcast Yin, Evan Winter has given the BLEAKEST WINTER the emotional rounding lacking in so many other, similar musical combos.
