My Interests

Fun, friends, information, safe schools, social justice and equal rights

I'd like to meet:

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning youth and their allies, ages 13-22, looking for a community, friends, and opportunities to learn and get involved. Come for friends, fun, social activism, and education.

Music:

The Q hosted Gina Young in concert on August 22. We hope to have other concerts in the future.

Movies:

The Youth Center will soon begin offering a movie night on the last Friday of the month! What movies would you like to see?

Books:

The Center opened a LGBTQ research library with resources for LGBTQ youth, their allies, teachers, and parents in the spring of 2007. Books can be checked out by Q Center members. If there is a book you think should be in the library, let us know!

Heroes:

“All young people, regardless of sexual orientation or identity, deserve a safe and supportive environment in which to achieve their full potential.” Harvey Milk
