Hi, I'm Jeanette. I'm originally from Riverside, California but moved to Virginia Beach 12 years ago. I miss all of my family and friends in Southern California, I miss the beach, the mountains, Disneyland, all of the great concerts that come to town, and I really miss the food (Mexican, In 'n' Out, Del Taco just to name a few!)
I work as a receptionist/paralegal at a law firm in downtown Norfolk
I have a wonderful husband, Dan aka Toad, whom I met through my brother. We have been married since November, 2001 and we have a baby boy, Evan, who was born September 30, 2007. We are so in love with our little guy and adore being parents!

We bought our first house in Chesapeake, Virginia in 2003.
We have a beagle Selena that we rescued from a shelter.
She has the worst breath in the world and likes to play Houdini and escape from her leash. But I love her a bunch and love to spoil her.
I have a tattoo on my lower back and now I want more! (Once you start you can't stop!)
I have a blue butterfly with a black tribal, now I'm looking for a pretty angel or a Celtic cross to put on my pelvis.
As you can see, I LOVE music. I've always used music as a sort of escape from life, listening to music or writing music has always been therapeutic for me, a creative outlet of sorts. I play piano/keyboard. I love going to concerts (spend WAY too much money on going to shows every year, but its worth it!) I have been getting into photography lately, love to take pictures at concerts and have quite a collection. I love to travel, and have been to almost every state in the country. Road trips are the best. There is nothing better than jumping in a car and just driving to nowhere in particular (my husband and I do it often!) I have been getting into genealogy and am currently working on my family tree. I love to research and read, enjoy history (I know, I'm a nerd!) I thrive on laughter, I have quite an odd sense of humor and love to make others laugh as well. I love to exercise (Ok, I admit I'm a little obsessed with working out! I do 600 situps a day...seriously!). I am addicted to my IPOD, text messaging, Tivo, Orbit gum, Guitar Hero (I told you I was a nerd!),and Coldstone Creamery (yummy!)
I love to hang out with my friends whether we're barhopping or just hanging out doing nothing in particular. I am very close to my parents and younger brother, David, and absolutely adore my nephews.I would love to reconnect with old friends from southern California, high school, college, any friends I haven't talked to in a long time.
