Ok, me, what about me would you want to know? First of all, I’m an easy going person. To say that one of my favorite things to do is just chill and hang out with friends would be a major understatement. That of course lends itself perfectly to another aspect of my personality… I love to laugh and make people laugh. My sarcasm often gets me in trouble because I struggle with finding the line between funny and insulting. It probably doesn’t help that I hear the credo “funny supersedes nice,†from several of my friends on a fairly regular basis.
I’m still very much a kid at heart. To some it’s endearing, and to some, not so much, but it’s who I am. I decided a long time ago that there are so many things in life that we can get wrapped up about that can easily wear a person down and I’d rather not let those things break me. I like to find joy in what life has to offer. This thinking also affects my views on people. I feel that we all have our issues (and I do mean all) but I’d much rather find the good in people and trust until proven otherwise. If you know me, you know that’s backfired on me before, but that has not changed the way I feel, and I wouldn’t be me if it did.
I’m looking forward to some stuff on the horizon in my life. I’m working to vanquish the not so lovely burden of debt in my life. I know almost everyone has it, I don’t want it anymore. With debt gone I’ll be starting on a lifelong dream of mine; Flight lessons. I want to fly, and I will fly. I’m tired of dreaming about it. It’s time to do it.
