About Me

Hip Hop 4 Hockey is a organization established in 2006 by Todd Engel. Hip Hop 4 Hockey mission is to release a series of fundraising mixtapes & concerts designed to market underground hip hop artists while raising funds for struggling junior hockey clubs in small market towns across Canada. Hip Hop 4 Hockey's partners with Jr. hockey clubs hope to educate tweens (8-12), teens (13-18) and young adults (19-100) about their local Jr. hockey teams & leagues through mixtapes, concerts and community events. Additionally, with Hip Hop culture having such a large influence on tweens and teens, Hip Hop 4 Hockey incorporates artists, celebrities and athletes, along with a fun and inviting atmosphere in an effort to effectively reach such a highly influenced target market. Hip Hop 4 Hockey's goal... to create a better awareness of local jr. hockey and underground hip hop artists. Hip Hop 4 Hockey's Executive Team includes: Todd Engel, Founder/President/Director of Events & Workshops/Executive Director of Programs & Partnerships/Director of Talent Relations/Director of Marketing. CONGRATULATIONS to ::Kevin Koopman, a local Hope boy playing for the Beaver Valley Night Hawks in the KIJHL (2005/06) gets drafted today 181st pick by the Ottawa Senators. The first Jr. B player ever to be drafted in the 1st round of the NHL!!!!Way to go Kevin!!!!!
