BACK TO MY INTERESTS
My interest of closest proximity is my husband of 46 years who is the mountain climber. Last summer he climbed two mountains in Mongolia. The first was Mt. Khuiten -- 14,000 feet.
My daughter and son and their spouses are the delight of my heart. If that weren't enough, we have two little granddaughters --4 and 6. Oh, so adorable and beautiful.
I am an artist. Oil painting, watercolors, silkscreen, and sculpture are my mediums. I received my formal training at the University of Washington and the University of Puget Sound.
Writing is also in my genes and I previously owned a publishing company in Tacoma, WA.

See all those hand painted original design necklaces scrolling by? It's my NEW thing. Not only am I selling books, but I am creating these tiny gems made on vintage Scrabble tiles.
I then give them a thick coat of clear resin, which adds a three dimensional effect. They have silver "findings" (eye screws, bails, jump rings and clasps). They and others like them are for sale on my MoxyFoxDesigns.etsy.com website.
CLICK HERE: MoxyFoxDesigns.etsy.com I bet I have a book you want. Come see my excellent source of Scarce, Out-of-print, and Collectible books. They are also on etsy.com. Yes, I have two stores -- one for art and the other for books.

Music:

We had jazz in our house during my growing up years. I desperately wanted a piano. How they arranged it I don't know, but when I was 9 I received an upright from my grandparents on Valentine's day.
When I was 35, my husband I and purchased a beautiful baby grand and I began my studies in classical music. I enjoyed that piano for 20 years.
When we retired and downsized, the piano had to go. Little did I imagine I'd ever have another. But when we moved to So California to be close to our first grandchild, we bought a house big enough for a baby grand. Who is lucky enough to own three pianos in their life?!!!

Movies:

There are several categories that I enjoy. In no particular order there are the prison films.
Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dead Man Walking, and Silence of the Lambs.
The light hearted films: You've Got Mail, Big, Mrs. Doubtfire, (I'll get back to these.)

Books:

The pictures of books scrolling by are just a small sample of what I have on my website. I put them there first before they go to auction on eBay. Think about birthdays, holiday gifts, or books you'd like for your own library.

I had an outstanding humanities teacher at Bellevue High School in Bellevue WA. It was through his extraordinary communication skills that I learned to love Beowolf, Oedipus Rex, The Iliad, and The Odyssey. These books set the ground work for all I read afterwards.
