I come from the lovely city of Liverpool, but currently live in Coventry. I moved here to further my musical abilities and sing more! Quite a late starter in the music scene, I wrote my first song in 2003 and have carried on since. I do this whilst doing my best to play the guitar. Unfortunately it isn't me playing on the band tracks above, it's Damian Mercer of 'Route 49' fame (myspace/damianmercer).
Route 49 got together during the 2nd year of music college and stayed together during that year, ah. We gigged and had loads of fun until they all left Coventry when college finished :-( The other members were Andrew Burford (myspace/burford_andrew) and Elly Leake (myspace/ellyfer) on drums, Dan Caws (myspace/thisisdansmyspace) on bass, Matt Bramhall (myspace/mattbramhall) on keys and Joy Marzouk (who doesn't have a myspace but has a fan club set up in her honour) on backing vocals. Joy still joins me with her beautiful vocals on the acoustic scene when she can. You'll know what I mean if you've heard her!
I'm also the singer in local jazz funk band One Nation. (myspace/onenationlive) If you haven't seen us play yet, why not!?! It's great to salsa dance to!
