Hope is the ability to hear the music of the future; faith is the ability to dance to it today

About Me

My name is Jai. I am a Christian. I'm half Fijian and half English. I'm 32 and I'm married to the beautiful Andrea. I play guitar and sing. I've recently been jamming with a band I used to be in 9 years ago called Cubic Jinx. I also play drums. I like to run, swim, cycle, train Muay Thai, play badminton and generally keep fit. I also love BMX, but alas, I'm utter gash at it. I am quite an easy going character most of the time. There are a few things that wind me up though. They are: Bullying, infidelity, prejudice and hunger

I'd like to meet:

Your good self, of course! I'd love to meet Ray Mears. I reckon if you were anywhere on Earth with Ray, you'd survive even if it was Antarctica or in the Himalayas. The same applies in a political espionage sense with Jack Bauer! I'd love to get some guitar lessons from Eddie Van Halen, Vernon Reid, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. I'd love to have met Frank Zappa while he was alive.I reckon he would have been a really interesting guy to talk to. This may sound weird, but I'm looking forward to bumping into all the biblical dudes in Heaven. People like David, Samson, Peter, Paul, Abraham and of course Jesus! I'd like to take a few lightsaber lessons from Mace Windu too!

Still Shaking, but getting stronger

It was slightly surreal, but there I was singing a hymn with an internationally renowned Bible scholar and Pastor in my kitchen. It’s not every day that happens! Another unusual thing - earlier ...

Tired but Good

You'd probably survive if you were thrown into a pool with one piranha, but in a river full of them, you would surely die. The flesh would be torn off your limbs within seconds. Why do I mention this?...
