I actually read a lot, considering I used to hate it. I read all kinds of books. Of course all the Dan Brown books, anything by Brad Meltzer, Liscence to Deal, Art of War, Now I can Die in Peace, No Excuses, Game of Shadows( for the record Barry Bonds sucks) Philosophy in Baseball, Philosophy in the Simpsons, Friday Night Lights, Biography of DaVinci, Biography of Ben Franklin( for the record he is my hero such a manwhore and nobody knows it), Wicked, Capote, In Cold Blood, So many more to name but if I have the time I'll read anything that will expand my mind in any way.
The real answer sounds corny, but my father. He taught me everything I know about a strong work ethic, working hard for what you want, and how to treat a woman right
