Kasper & Papol are two young promises of Madrid?s electronic scene. Both active members of Rdt collective, and organized illegal parties all over since 2002. In 2004 started to develop sets together causing a fantastic reaction among people... Both evolutionated to a more simple, synthetic sound, more percussive and less melodic never forgeting the connection with the crowd. The most important background came from post punk, rock, jazz, rap and of course electronic labels such as studio 1, basic channel, profan, chain reaction, mosaic, schatrax, perlon, planet E... In early 2005 they put together a new pre party club called Dust, trying to push up madrids very underground scene, young new Dj.s, offering a more mental and atmospheric concept of music. After the great success they moved their residence to a bigger, better situated club called Revolver in 2006 sharing sets with important artists like Kiko barba, David Mariscal, Damian Schwartz, Pilas, Magda... In late 2005, Esperanza grew up with the idea of showing the crowd their favourite music, offering a personal view of electronic music. People like Kiko Barba, Troy Pierce, Butane, Dario Zenker, Heartthrob, Jorge Savoretti, Ryan Crosson, Marc houle, Franco Cinelli, Mikael Stavostrand, Qik have joined the project and helped the label to grow up and became what it is in the present. Also in 2006, their first release came out on Igloo netlabel, with remixes of Dario Zenker, Jorge Savoretti and Dilo and has been played by some of the main suspects of the minimal scene all over the world, caused also for the great response from public that this argentinian netlabel has in the present. Later on, Kasper collaborated with Minus with a remix of the minimal anthem RUOK? from newyorker Ambivalent and after with a track in the VVAA of Items and things 02 (label owned by Troy Pierce, Magda and Marc Houle). This year has a lot of surprises coming up, releases in Esperanza, Lomidhigh, Mupa... Also Kasper has another project with Franco Cinelli called Las vegas that will release twice during 2008, one in Hello?Repeat and another in Mupa (Damian Schwartz label) plus another release in Som Underground (New york label owned by Brothers Vibe) with Jorge Savoretti. Kasper&Papol have played in some of the most important clubs and events in the world such as deep club (Madrid). Watergate (Berlin), Rex (Paris), Fuse (Brussels), Arena club (Berlin), Harry Klein (Munich), Registratur (Munich), Minimalismi (Naples), South American Conference (Buenos Aires), Q club (Zurich), Gazgolder Gallery (Moscow), festival Klubbers (Madrid) and many more.
Kasper & Papol son dos jóvenes promesas pertenecientes a la escena electrónica madrileña. Los dos miembros activos del colectivo Rdt han organizado fiestas ilegales por toda la capital desde el 2002. Los dos juntos evolucionaron hacia un sonido más simple, percusivo y sintético siempre teniendo en cuenta la conexión con el público. El background más importante vino de sellos como Studio 1, Basic Channel, Profan, Chain Reaction, Mosaic, Schatrax, Delsin, Planet E, etc...A principios del 2005 abrieron un nuevo club de primera hora llamado Dust, intentando apoyar la escena más underground dentro de la capital de España, dando cabida a jóvenes artistas y ofreciendo un concepto musical mucho más mental y atmosférico. Poco después movieron su residencia a un club más grande y mejor situado, Revolver. Durante el 2006 compartieron cabina con importantes artistas como Kilo Barba, David Mariscal, Damian Schwartz, Pilas, Magda,....Al final del 2005. Esperanza nació de la idea de mostrarle al público la música que realmente les gustaba, ofreciendo una visión personal de la música electrónica. Gente como Kiko Barba, Troy Pierce, Butane, Dario Zenker, Heartthrob, Jorge Savoretti, Marc Houle, Ryan Crosson, etc... se unieron al proyecto y han ayudado a que el sello crezca y se haya convertido en lo que es en el presente. También en el 2006, vio la luz el primer release de Kasper&Papol en Igloo netlabel, con remixes de Dario Zenker, Jorge Savoretti y Dilo y ha sido pinchado por algunos de los sospechosos habituales dentro de la escena de minimal por todo el mundo. Posteriormente, y el 2007, Kasper colaboró con Minus con su remezcla al hit de Ambivalent RUOk? y posteriormente con un track en el VVAA de Items and Things (label propiedad de Troy Pierce, Magda y Marc Houle). A lo largo de este año hay varios releases preparados tanto en Esperanza como en otros labels asi como remixes en Esperanza, 11:00 am... Además Kasper tiene un proyecto con Franco Cinelli (Rosario, Argentina) llamado Las Vegas y tendrán dos release a lo largo de 2008, uno en Hello?Repeat y otro en Mupa (label de Damian Schwartz, parte de la familia de Net28). Kasper&Papol han tocado por toda Europa en algunos de los Clubs más importantes del Mundo como Deep club (Madrid). Watergate (Berlin), Rex (Paris), Fuse (Brussels), Arena club (Berlin), Harry Klein (Munich), Registratur (Munich), Minimalismi (Naples), South American Conference (Buenos Aires), Q club (Zurich), Gazgolder Gallery (Moscow), festival Klubbers (Madrid) etc...
