Icy Chill

About Me

An epic meditation on intangibility yet a profound use of modern intellectuality combined with youthfulness and excitement. Icy Chills first album simply entitled “Icy Chill” is a mixture of urban influence and teenage life. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instils one with the hope that it’s not too late to better ourselves. Icy Chill was originally influenced by a variety of music genre. When he was young, anything from country to soul would be playing in the house. Pop RnB and Hip Hop soon came into the limelight as Icy grew older. In particular the great exchange of song between Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur provided influence and education in the art of musical rap. It was not until Icy Chills parents both passed away from Cancer mother (1997), father (2002) that Icy Chill found music as a means of expressing ones self. Soon after he began writing and recording music at the tender age of 14. Throughout the next couple of years Icy Chill was to embark on various expeditions within the realm of music, through a variety of influences, life experiences, social and economical well being and the strive for more he wrote, recorded and produced his first album. “Icy Chill” the album addresses youthfulness today, the highs and lows, the pressures and predicaments, the enjoyments and fulfilments. Furthermore songs like “I want you to be my girl” and “Beautiful senorita” evaluate the correlation between young love and true love. Furthermore it is a truism that these love songs underpin love as more than a mere concept but instead as art. Consequently reflecting the importance of monogamy within society. The album boasts many party feel-good songs that are perfect for the club scene. Songs such as “Bad Boy Lovin” and “Can you feel” comprise of excellent productions by Nebula. Moreover the realism and creativity is second to none. The video “Bad Boy Lovin” is a combination of Hip Hop grit combined with a sexy slick feel. Directed by Stephen Bland James, the video was manufactured in London and is fantastic song to get down to. Up and coming videos include “Beautiful senorita” which will be made in Thailand. Currently “Icy Chill” commands a relatively large fan base, which continues to grow. “Icy Chill” now sells in select HMV stores and can be brought online at www.icychill.com. “Icy Chill” is a lesson in wisdom, fortitude and ambition at the same time it as a composition of reliance, creativity and is by far a colossus piece of art.
