About Me
I sense my Padawan. His troops stare death in the face for him and follow him into the abyss. It is not simply how they were bred; it is how they are led. They follow not only his commands, but his example.
And then I sense him, burning across the field of battle, raging and angry in the Force. Anakin Skywalker, my first Padawan.
I taught him to be a Jedi. I taught him to carry the light within him. I also taught him to walk in the shadows. Now I can only sense churning darkness within him. What has he become?
Master Windu considers me to be the master of the classic form of lightsaber combat, Soresu.
During the Clone Wars, I became known as 'The Negotiator.'
My pride led me to think that I could train the Chosen One as well as Yoda and Qui-Gon had trained me. His failure was my own.

Philosophy:
War is chaos, noise, and confusion. No matter how well planned the battle, or how disciplined the troops, all comes down to red chaos. War will exact its price not only in the destruction by, and of, the engines of war, but in the minds and souls of those who fight the battles.
Looking inward, a Jedi knows serenity in chaos. Deep in battle meditation, he sees the battlefield shimmering in the Force. Visualizing the battle's outcome, he knows that victory can exist.
If the Force wills.
In battle meditation, a Jedi knows where to strike, with a lightsaber or an army, to finish his opponent. Serene, he can strike without anger, hate, or remorse. With a calm mind, he can lead the Jedi to victory.
If the Force wills.
Everything dies. In time, even stars burn out. This why Jedi form no attachments: all things pass. To hold on to something, or someone, beyond its time is to set your selfish desires against the will of the Force. That is a path of misery; the Jedi do not walk it.
If one strikes without fear, without anger, in harmony with all things, then he strikes as a Jedi.
A Jedi doesn't need to reach into the Force. He has already let the Force reach into him. In the Force, he is beyond questions. That is why he can simply stand. Why he can simply wait. He has no need to attack, or to defend. There will be battle here, but he is perfectly at ease, perfectly content to let the battle start when it will start, and let it end when it will end. Just as he will let himself live, or let himself die. This is how a great Jedi makes war.
A Jedi does not cling to the past.
Let go of your anger. It will drown you. No Jedi is ever alone. This is the core of you. This is the truth of you. You are made of light. We are all made of light, and the light is greater than the anger of the darkness.
