“Genepi†Music Publishing and Production Company
was founded in 1994.
The Company was created by the efforts
of it's artistic director Aldo Azzaro.
Musician, composer, and writer,
registered at SIAE (Italian Publishers and Authors
Association) since 1978.
Presently a music producer, Mr. Azzaro has collaborated
as composer with such musical masters as
Lucio Dalla, Gianni Morandi, Mogol,
Gianfranco Baldazzi, Ron, , Cecilia Gasdia,
and other outstanding musicians who's names
are well known throughout Italy and worldwide
for L.I.T.A. project as Dee Dee Bridgewater,
Randy Crawford, Isaac Hayes, Gino Vannelli,
Kool & the Gang's Skip Martin, Billy Preston,
The Black Box, Waine Shorter and Mitchell Foreman.
Mr. Azzaro's professional and entrepreneurial
efforts lead to creation of recording and production
operations at GENEPI in 2004.
Among his other inventions and discoveries,
Mr. Azzaro has secured a contract with BMG RICORDI SpA
to co-produce the recordings of a celebrated
archbishop and exorcist Emmanuel Milingo .
With this record GENEPI Music Publishing
also seeks to promote ethnical culture Milingo's
and African musical traditions in its broad diversity.
The Company's recording studio features recording
equipment as well as facilities for audio restoration.
After producing various “world music†compositions
for the media group “L'Espresso†and “La Repubblicaâ€,
GENEPI was recognised - for it's record sound excellence
and the record release with international licensing.
Member of the P.F.A, Association of
Phonographic Producers, as well as SIAE and F.I.M.I. ,
Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana,
Genepi continues it's pioneering work in the field
of music production and publishing both in Italy
and abroad with an operative base in France, Cannes.
