I love sports and music, waking up in the morning and realising I still have a few hours left to sleep, long hot showers (the ones that test the endurance of the hot water system), the last few hours before catching a Muse gig when the anticipation is almost to much to take, running through sprinklers on Australia Day, spending a long winters day indoors watching my footy team win by the narrowest of margins, receiving a package from eBay and not remembering what I bought, road trips with mates - windows down/music up, the first moments after skydiving out of a plane when the adrenaline is pumping so hard you think you're going to have a heart attack and are so disoriented you don't know which way is down, poetic guitarists, listening to a new band playing live for the first time and falling in love with their sound, dark ales on a summer evening, my beloved Fender bass, drinking boutique brews at Fad Bar with a cool Blues/Jazz band on stage, debating world issues with my mates, playing weekend warriors, watching a captivating Si-Fi series on TV, I'm totally getting into the new Dr Who - surprised myself with that one!, reading an epic novel, the feeling of increased health and fitness after an intense personal training session and hugs from my little black cat Brandy.
There are a lot of things I love but I should probably tell you there are a few things that I don't dig; The feeling of intense pain and fatigue during a personal training session, carrots, 'reality' TV, there's just nothing real about it! that ya-ha wo-ho song by Gwen Stefani cause it makes my ears bleed and the week after footy season ends when you realise there are six long months till pre-season.
Which Ninja Turtle Are You?
They're the world's most fiercest fighting teens. Leonardo leads, Donatello loves machines. Raphael is cool, but rude and Michelangelo is a party dude. They're your heroes in a half shell--the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But, have you ever wondered which you are most like? This quiz will determine which turtle you would be if you were exposed to the secret ooze. Turtle power! So...
I'd be Raphael, the fierce and passionate anti-hero of the turtles. He lives by his own rules and only his rules. At times he can be perceived as selfish, but that's only because he likes to work on his own without anyone getting in the way. The same happens with him trying to achieve other goals in life, as he is focused on doing what he needs to do to succeed. I'm much like Leonardo in the sense that he is a born leader, though he's a born leader for himself, not for others. He cares about what he does and puts all his effort into it even if it seems foolhardy or stubborn. He's set in his ways and no one is going to change them, but that's fine with him--his ways are right.
