SPITE! History
On New Years Eve 2001 / 2002, four guys
Butch (Vocals), Doc (Bass), Tom (Guitar), Choniuk (Drums)
met at ALCATRAZ in Nuernberg and decided to stop their useless existence and make something with their life. On this nite SPITE! was born.
Finally after eight month they decided to confront the world with their set of well crafted songs and covers.
They should have a opportunity very soon:
On the 27 th August 2002 SPITE! had their live debut as support for SICK OF IT ALL in Nuernbergs K4 (Ex-Komm).
Since then SPITE! have been working hard, writing new songs and hoping bring out a release onto the masses.
2003:
When their rehearsal rooms closed, in mid Januar SPITE! was out on the Streets. But they could share a room with their Friends Bands REJECTED YOUTH/SCHIZOSTURM . On the beginning of August SPITE! was united in their own room. But now they recruited a second guitarist, Nadir. He worked well with the band, picked up songs quickly and rocked out. He was a welcome addition.
2004:
SPITE! recorded their New CD No Retreat, No Surrender , at FIREBASS STUDIO , Nuernberg with Thomas Sgt. Hahn. The year also saw them supporting Rawside, Crushing Caspars, Backfire, Madball, Cataract and Punishable Act.
It was an awesome, yet educational, year for SPITE! with many high and low points.
2005:
Saw No Retreat, No Surrender released, and were honoured with supporting the legendary MISFITS in june. Three days later they played their first big festival with Napalm Death, DieCast and more.
2006:
SPITE! entered the studio again to record more songs. Then the band said Goodbye to Nadir who left because of different interests. His replacement was Basti from Own and they are preparing for the summer at full pace, where they will be sharing a stage with AGNOSTIC FRONT . With FIRST BLOOD just confirmed for the show.
