NEVER FACE DEFEAT was
formed in May 2001 by
Carsten Doetsch, Karl Broi,
Patrick Schoene and
Ronny Zeche. Playing a heavy
but still very original sound with
lots of different influences they
have been compared to various
well-known HC-acts right from
the beginning, but in doing
so they always kept their own
characteristic style. With the
intention to bring some new
wind in nowadays European
HC they hit the studio in June
2001 to record five songs for
a promo-CD that should build
up their reputation.
But unfortunately due to a
serious car accident of
guitar-player Karl all activities
had to be put to rest for about
half a year. Everybody who
thought this would bring these
guys down has been proven
wrong. After Karls recovery
NFD went on with their
mission and since the
beginning of 2002 they
played shows in Germany as
well as in the neighbouring
countries Holland, Belgium and
Switzerland sharing stages with
Death Threat, Born From Pain,
LEsprit Du Clan,
Comin Correct,Hatebreed,
Madball, Angel Crew,
Knuckledust,
Settle the Score,
Full Court Press, Inhuman
and many others what in the
beginning of 2003 led to a
record-deal with
Germanys
label Demons Run Amok
Entertainment
which released the recently
recorded new songs on an
MCD called
"Remember Your Heartbeat".
At that point NFD have already
been featured on a lot of different
HC-compilations. Also four
songs from their promo have in
the meanwhile been released
on an international
4-way-split-CD called
"4 Way's One Thought" on
the bassists own label
"Lucifers Legions Records".
Right after the release of the
MCD in March 2003 NFD
started touring through the
Baltic states leaving their marks
on countries like Poland,
Lithuania, Latvia and
Estonia.
In 2004 theyre entering stages
in countries like Switzerland,
Austria and Italy.
Since this two years were very
successful they are now ready
to take over the rest of Europe.
Numerous shows in different
countries are already booked for
2005.
In february 2005 NFD enter the
studio again to record their new
songs for the upcoming album
"Human Weapons".
2006, Never Face Defeat released
the new album "Human Weapons".
After that they played a lot of shows
and presented the new album on
a mini tour through Germany.
During the tour they recorded 3
new songs and 6 will follow in 2007
for a full length CD.
Now after the storm of apocalypse
mini tour they'll focus on the
song writing for the next album.
