Eating and Music. In that order.
Sometimes I like Football but only when Gillingham win.
I'd like to meet:
Topless models, prominent sportsmen, eminent scientists, dedicated environmentalists, mad scientists, circus curios, Anyone with a bootleg copy of a Laminators album ... I have enough friends really. If you've taken a picture of yourself with a camera phone of you pulling a "funny" face then we probably won't get along. Get over it.
Music:
I write and play Piano/Keyboards/Bass/Guitar/Harmonica and sing. Don't worry - I don't pretend it's the greatest stuff on earth and I won't shove it down your throat on these pages. I Sometimes write and produce for other people. Mostly though, I don't.Arcade Fire, Flaming Lips, Half Man Half Biscuit, Squeeze, XTC, Madness, The Who, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Kinks and Wilco are all good. So are lots of other people but we've got lives to lead so...
Movies:
Got a thing for strange arty/horror films at the moment.
La Cabina is a good example. If anyone can tell me the name of the film where a family finds itself living in a dolls house (which itself is placed in an oven) then you've no idea how happy you'd make me.
Television:
Nothing beats the thrilling spectacle of live darts ... Except perhaps The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, Brainiac, Anything with David Attenborough, Later, Mitchell and Webb, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, and Sky Sports News.
Books:
Currently reading "My Fault" by Billy Childish. I'm only reading it because it's about growing up in the Medway Towns but it's damn fine.
Heroes:
Ian Dury. There ain't half been some clever bastards.
