Her courage and skill in speaking out against violence in her homeland landed her a deal with Multi-platinum legend Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics fame.
She has won best new female artist in Jamaica, her song I Hate This is a part of the Tomb Raider Cradle of life soundtrack.
Nadirah has also been commissioned by Coca Cola for their “real campaign” in the Caribbean.
She has worked with the likes of Mick Jagger & Joss Stone on the Golden Globe award-winning soundtrack for Alfie.
She has written and recorded with such greats as Jimmy Cliff (on the Grammy Nominated Black Magic) and Annie Lennox.
Nadirah is featured on Annie’s new album Songs of Mass Destruction (Produced by Glenn Ballard) on the track “Womankind” which is receiving great reviews.
