MySpace Layouts MySpace Codes MySpace Backgrounds 20 something.... i like to enjoy myself as much as i can, afterall with everything thats happening in the world i firmly believe that civilisation as we know it will cease in 20-30 years(so optimistic!). i am a bit of a realist. My girlfriend is a idealist so we balance out lol :-)I like to think of myself as a student of life,as life is a never ending learning process,i dont always get it right,but i try to learn from getting it wrong,and it makes me grow. I have my good and bad days like everyone i think.i am a caring&sensitive sort of gal, sometimes shy sometimes naughty!i hate racism,prejudice,people who look down on others,closed mindness, abuse of human rights, how much it costs to live Ireland, as my grandmother said "nothing is coming down in this country....only the rain!!" lol. i believe we..re all equal,none of us better than anyone,and i wish there was more solidarity in this world-people looking out for each other.i like ppl who are compasionate and caring,be up for a laugh and good time. This page is dedicated to rasing awareness about social issues affecting our world. There is so much injustices, hate, war, poverty, greediniess, inequalities, discrimination, and corruptness to name but a few in nearly every society worldwide, where people are motivated by money and power at the expense of mankind. We are destroying our world, the generations ahead of us will have to suffer for our wrongdoings(if the planet is still livable). When i was younger i was more proactive in human rights, environmental and fundrasing, but its something i lapsed on for many years, apart from doing the odd thing. I am at a stage now where i want to be more proactive again as it really is something any conscientious person must do, and as a human being. Furthermore, in this page i have included the more positive aspects of our world- its beauty, people, cultures, things that are inspirational.Thankyou for taking the time to look at my profile and i urge you to check out the links and educate yourself more about what is happening and hopefully to encourage you to stand up for those less privileged in life. films,music,learning,art,going out and having lots of fun, spending time with my loved ones, being all snug and cosy while i can hear the rain outside, waking early in the morning and knowing you've another 30 mins sleep hmmm,flying,travelling,gigs/concerts/festivals,making a difference,reading, going for a nice meal with good company, going to my mothers and staying over-nice break from everything, my own space time, and of course being on myspace :-)

i have a weird variety of taste in music,anything from cheesy happy pop songs to indie/rock, electronic to classical.

Movies:

Anything from thrillers to ainimations. I love films that make me cry, Beaches and Million dollar baby always do it. My favourite film is Gia with Angelina Jolie,big fan of Gia Marie Carangi whom the film is based on.

Television:

I go through phases of watching TV, liked Prison Break(but what a stupid ending to the series!) Love Little Britain,documentaries,could spend all day watching Animal Planet awww weak!

Books:

Books i enjoy range from fiction- Marian Keyes books are great, such ability to make one laugh out loud, gotta love the sarcasm. I like books about different cultures or events such as - Wild Swans, by jung Chang, Auschwitz by Laurence Rees and various psychology books
