About Me

This profile does not view well in Internet Explorer. The online now icons go crazy.

Send me a message or request here

I am a freelance graphic designer/artworker working in Bristol. I have worked in a range of different areas including POS, packaging, webdesign, promotional material, 3D animation and magazines. Check out my portfolio and CV below. The portfolio is pretty low res because of file sizes. (even now it might take a minute to load). If you'd like to receive a high res version or any other information please message me.

Check out some more of my work in my BLOWPOP FLYERS blog. Here's a little animation of mine I did ages ago now... Its not great quality as My Space compresses the video and it sticks a bit but you get the general idea.

My Interests

My main interests are watching anime, reading manga, 3D computer graphics and animation. I like going out, I like stay in even more, watching films, cooking and playing games.

I LIKE: Being in bed when its raining out, duvets, hot weather, palm trees, Japan, cooking, comfy sofas, Asian food, clubbing, dancing, waking on a Saturday and realising you can stay in bed, computer games, cats, sweet wine, heavy rain, having a tidy house, riding motorbikes, recycling, the sound of cicadas, warm wind, tropical storms, glitter, my new warcraft character... she's called Truffle :D, good old fashioned courtesy, Due South, staying in on a Friday night with wine, duvet, boyfriend and film.

I DISLIKE: Mornings, the cold, work, the cold, crashing computers, the cold, locking up my scooter, rubbish bins, food that might have gone off, smelly cheese, being in a club when I'm tired, arguing, mushrooms, people who are rude or nasty for no reason, slow computers, the thin bit of skin on the inside of your arm, butter, being ill, blunt cooking knives, dry wine, hovering, settling down to do work, slobery or smelly dogs, scart leads, pre ordering the Burning Crusade Collector's Edition months ago and not getting a copy, so having to buy one off ebay for double the price from someone who doesn't even play Warcraft.. grrrr
Games I play a lot of computer games. I love them and their graphics. At the moment I am playing Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Wii and Animal Crossing: Wild World on the DS.

I also have a few Warcraft characters on Shadowsong EU. Check out my main character HERE

Other favorite games are the Final Fantasy and Zelda series (in fact almost any RPPG game), anything to do with the Simsand Sim City, FPS like Quake and Halflife, just about any real time strategy and of course the good old platformer.
Consoles My consoles and handhelds include: a SNES, N64, Dreamcast, GameCube, X-Box, Playstaion 2, Pre-order Playstaion 3, Wii, Gameboy, Gameboy colour, Game boy advanced x 2, Nintendo DS and PSP... and an Alienware for good old PC gaming. Sad really isn't it.

I'd like to meet:

I only like to have people I actually know, or have met in real life, in my friends list, so please don't be offended if I don't add you because I don't know you.

I want to catch up with old friends, present friends and friends of my friends...

These are some other guys I'd like to meet though I doubt they have my space pages...

Movies:

I love films... most kinds in fact. My favorite live action films include: Name of the Rose, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Fist of Legend, Bladerunner, Pride and Predudice (old version), SinCity, Starwars, Gladiator... and probably loads more that I can't think of.
AnimeIf you've never checked out any of Hayao Miyazaki's animated films then DO. They are amazing.. but please watch them in Japanese (with subtitles of course), as a lot is lost in the english dubs. Great films by him are Tonari no (My neighbour) Totoro, Laputa (also called Castle in the Sky), Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa Valley of the Wind, Grave of the Fire Flies and Kiki's Delivery Service. There are tones more.. all of them are great.
Other favorite anime films and tv series include Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain, Gunbuster, Kare Kano, Slayers, Key the Metal Idol, Fruits Basket, Wings of Honneamise, Metropolis, all Lupin films, Akira (of course) and never forgetting the one and only Dragonball.

Television:

DUE SOUTH.... I don't care... I love it :D I'm a total Simpsons addict. Also watching Desperate Housewives, 24, Shameless, Skins, Lost and the great new Ugly Betty.

Books:

Great books - The hobbit - Lord of the Rings - The Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman - The Eathsea books by Ursula Le Guin - The Ice people by Maggie Gee. Also love Mary Wesley's work. Harnissing Peacocks has to be one of my favourte stories. Also love John Wyndham books.
MangaI read a lot of Manga. I've got all work by Rumiko Takahashi thats been translated. My favorite is Maison Ikkoku... also love Ranma 1/2, Inu Yasha and her short stories are great. Other manga I'm reading at the moment are Hellsing (stories going a bit downhill, but I can't get enough of the artwork), Love hina and Ai Yori Aoshi. Also slowly collecting Dragonball and Dragonball Z. The original story of Akira is some of the best reading, comic or otherwise, I've ever read. It is so many mile better than the film that I can't even try and count... and I love the film.
