This is a classic:
LOTR Trilogy, Blade Runner (NOT the director's cut!), Harry Potter (all of them), Bram Stoker's Dracula, Immortal Beloved (pretty much everything with Gary Oldman), Matrix +++, The original Star Wars Trilogy (not so much on the new ones), X-Men, Spiderman, Eraserhead, Twice Upon a Time, (ok, don't laugh) Total Recall and The Running Man.
X-Files, Star Trek TNG, Law & Order. I know, there is not much variety. I'm one of those guys that when he finds a show he likes, that's ALL he watches. I guess it is like comfort food for the mind.
I'm embarrased to say that I have not read fiction in a very long time. Most of what I read is technical garbage. By the end of the day, I just want to have pictures flash against my retinas. Although in the past I read a lot of SciFi (Asimov, Clarke) and Philosophy (Descartes, Sarte, Rand).
Michael Hedges because he was an innovator, a poet, a musical genius and an inspiration all in one. I have missed him greatly. Neil Peart for his incredible drumming and incredible intellect.
Michael Hedges - The greatest guitarist who ever lived (at least, I think so):
