LEAVE ME ALONE, I DON'T HAVE A WORKING PC AND I DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR MYSPACE FRIEND. My name is Roo and I've been making the place look untidy since 1989. Mainly because I am constantly tripping over, picking up things I shouldn't, and throwing things in the air.
I'm unique just like everyone else.
I hate war but love army uniforms.
I think the fact our government is buying new nuclear weapons when our NHS is dying is ridiculous. And I've worked for the NHS, so I know what I'm talking about.
I have a boyfriend who is a LOT older than me, and I don't fucking care what you think of that, because we make each other very happy and he helps me escape the shitty reality I'm supposed to have.
Everything I envision in my head NEVER happens. Hence no unicorn, no motorbike and no Henley college Deanfield canteen uzi massacre. Did I just say that?
I live with shadows of people, solid cats, piles of unfinished fibre crafts and a very overused computer. I want nothing from you, so you'll probably surprise me. I expect the worse, but secretely wish for the best.
And one time I woke up 2 hours early just to bake bread.

My Interests

Video games, dressmaking, dressing up, warpaint, charity shop fashion, zombies, anti-fashion, glamourous people, body mod, vinyl, mixing, "animation" (I just like cartoons)

I'd like to meet:

People who are content with the basics, the simple pleasures in life.
Someone who wants a live in muse.
My grandad's mum.
Glamourous people who want someone scuzzy to make them look even better.

Music:

Gorillaz keeps me chirpy, SOAD keeps me loud, happy hardcore makes me buzz, celtic makes me soar, Simon & Garfunkel keep me chilled, The Offspring and Bloodhound Gang make me giggle.
And, naturally, I'm totally addicted to bass.

Movies:

Ones with violent outbursts that wow you (e.g the motocycle smash in The One, the dog kick in Resident Evil, the scene in the boss's office in Fight Club)
Insightful movies.
Animation
Werewolves, zombies and vampires, always welcome.
I'm a sucker for anime.

Television:

Cartoon Network: The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Nicktoons: Spongebob Squarepants.
Kerrang and Scuzz unless they're playing songs I don't like or are on advert breaks.
National Geographic is pretty, well, graphic.
Rapture TV... no longer technically a TV channel. Oh how I miss my Mezzo DSA dose.

Heroes:

Oh, the regular ones.
Noodle from Gorillaz rocks my world. If I wanted to base myself on anyone, it would be her, but I'd have to lose a ton of weight and become a cartoon first, which sounds like a lot of hassle. The same goes for Tank Girl. Damn you Jamie Hewlett!
I'm not really into hero worship or obsession though. People with obsessions always end up disappointed.
Of course, there's lots of fictional heroes that I love, but they're fictional. The real heroes are the ones that stand up to corruption and fight for our rights.
