In an time where DJs tend to brand themselves to a certain genre, and play it regardless of time they're booked, Bacchus prides himelf in his ability to read and adapt to a crowds interest.
When the time is right, you can expect everything from crazy Acid lines, bangin' drums, distorted stynths and big bass when seeing Bacchus perform. His motto of "Genres Suck!" will be noticable in a mix of everything from Hard Trance, Hardstyle to all forms of Techno and recently Tearout Breakbeats. Having been booked alongside some of the biggest international and local names in hard dance music, such as Lady Dana, Sam Punk, Lenny Dee, Omar Santana, Paladin 5.1, Mark Grimace, Bacchus has become known as one of Toronto's dominant Hardstylers.
However, Bacchus doesn't tie himself down with such restraints. With a contstantly growing collection of breaks and house, you'll hear a complete different side of Bacchus, which focuses on funky beats, electro synths and catchy lyrics that are bound to keep the heaviest feet tapping. With a weekly residency as a Breaks DJ of Toronto's General Misconduct Entertainment, Bacchus has refined his skills as a breaks DJ, and is continuing to establish himself in Toronto and the surronding area.
With an early love for electronic music, Bacchus started producing it at a young age. Comming out of college, He started collection Nu Style Gabber. Looking for music to play along with my own productions, Toronto legend Paladin pointed me to the direction of Hardstyle. With Hard Electronic music always being among my favorite listening and productions genres, the collection and vinyl addiction became a given.
