About Me

So... after however many years of having the same "About me" - I think it's time for an update!It would seem that my anti-socialness has come to an abrupt halt. I find that I want to be out doing things more and more. What stands from my old write-up is that I'm fairly realistic and logical, and I consider myself an honest and open person. It may sound strange, but I like people who can be honest and open without just ... well, bitching :P In other words, be fucking optimistic! Things aren't as bad as they seem! And if they're as bad as you make them out to be, maybe you should just /wrist emo-kid :_( Ok, that wasn't directed at anyone in particular, and some people have the right to complain, but does it *really* make anything better? Holy crap, this isn't about me! Good Lord, I'm ranting! I'll take my own advice about not complaining about things because it wont make them better :P So anyways, I still like video games! I also like drinking, and having a good time(wierd, I know)! Ummm, hrmm - currently in life, I'm really just trying to meet new people! Trying to find new things to do ya know? So "about me"? I'm in exploratory mode - what about you, huh?

My Interests

Hanging out with friends, and more recently, looking for new ways to get out and chill. Playing video games is pretty high on my list still. I also like reading, but I tend to do more of the hanging/gaming.

I'd like to meet:

Nice, intelligent, rational, sane, amusing people who like to get out and have fun! I'd also like to meet people who are fairly secure in themselves because I like to pretend I'm secure about myself, and it's fun to play make believe! Also, no crazy bitches please - I'm capped out on my "Crazybitchometer" for at least the rest of this year.

Music:

I'm open-minded to music. I've given basically everything a chance. That said, my favorite music is pretty much anything that's *hard*. Music that just fucking rocks, you know? Obviously, that puts: rock, metal, industrial, at the top of my list. I like some rap, not generally hip-hop. Country kind of makes my head hurt... you can only hear so much about "my tractor, woman, horse, truck, the road," etc. I'll listen to classical, oldies, classic rock, techno, alternative, and others, but not usually if it's my choice hehe. So what's *my* hard? Dope has long been a favorite, but has recently taken a step down to bands such as In Flames, Soilwork, and Lamb of God. On the flip side, TechN9ne got crazy flow!

Movies:

LotR(of course); Star Wars; almost anything funny... GD there are so many...; Boondock Saints; I like good anime movies like Princess Mononoke, Samurai X and Ninja Scroll! Not much for horror, honestly. It used to be because I was "scurred", but I've seen a few in my more recent years, and it's just not all that appealing... I watch a movie to relax and be entertained usually, you know?

Television:

I can't stand TV. If I'm going to rot my mind out and waste time, I like to at least be involved in what's going on. Which is why I choose to play video games over watching TV anyday. *Although* I like lots of cartoons! Especially on Adult Swim! There are *some* shows that I will give credit to, and don't mind watching also.. but I almost never sit in front of a TV for any reason other than to play a game or watch a movie.

Books:

I read an assload of Star Wars novels when I was younger... I'm a big Sci-fi, and Fantasy fan... Currently, I am reading A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin, and thoroughly enjoying it!

Heroes:

I don't really have "heroes." My father is a great role-model and I hope to be at least half the man he is.
