DJ Blunt aka Tom Blackden

Just when I thought I was out...They pull me back in!

About Me

I've been listening to Jungle Drum & Bass since we started man! Too young (just) to have missed the hardcore (Old Skool) rave scene - but I was there listening to me Edge packs and poor quality recorded tapes from Sterns and The Que Club, Birmingham! Bought my first set of decks when I was 13 and I've been collecting Vinyl ever since. Since then, DJ'in, Promoting and setting up my business (Web Design, IT Consultancy and Recruitment - www.comtecs.co.uk). Business takes up most of my time these days but you'll hear me play the odd gig here there: Played at numerous clubs across the South East and in London from Hastings Pier, to The Loft in Maidstone, SOS Tonbridge, Rollin Records in Barnet, Westminster University & also Concorde 2 in Brighton. Lined up alongside Hype, Pendulum, Nicky Blackmarket, Bryan G, Ruffstuff, Ed Rush & Optical, and played 2nd room at Devotion, Concorde 2 with Fresh & Grooverider hosting the main room. Right now its about a few gigs in the pipeline - watch out for the next installment of Debt Productions at Westminster University - the last event was a sell out with Pendulum killin it...literally! Collaboratin with my MC Bruno on the regular with some private party bizness on the side. Check the Radio Show for more details, ya hear! Peace
