DJ DubL 1st started spinnin' in 2000. He quickly picked up the skills & techniques & in 2003 landed his first club residency.
With his knowledge of Urban music (Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall & Reggaeton), DubL quickly progressed in the club scene & established himself as the hottest up & comer in the South East UK, being head-hunted by many clubs & organisations on the South Coast.In 2005, DJ DubL started the 1st Night in Eastbourne dedicated to playing 100% Urban Music...this night paved the way for DubL as he dominated the Urban Scene in the South-East corner.Since then, DJ DubL has been involved in numerous projects across the South Coast, playing in all of the major clubs along the Coastline & working alongside DJ's such as: Tim Westwood (Radio 1), DJ Semtex (1Xtra), DJ Cameo (1Xtra), DJ Swerve (Kiss FM), Shortee Blitz (Kiss FM), DJ Spoony (Radio 1), Trevor Nelson (Radio 1 / MTV), Scottie B (Choice FM), DJ Luck & MC Neat, DJ Pied Piper, MJ Cole, Ace & Invisible (1Xtra), DJ Hotsteppa (Choice FM), Crazy Cousins & More...2006 saw DJ DubL's first international appearance in Boston, MA...helping to support Boston's finest Reggae artist 'Mighty Mystic', on the release of Mystic's 2nd mixtape (Wake Up The World Pt.2) & launch of Urban Chic's 1st US based night alongside 45 Crew DJ Master Millions, Big Dawg Pitbull DJ Roy Barboza & Urban Chic Pioneer Mister Fix.
Since then, DubL has played in Bangkok, Koh Phangan (Thailand), Greece & 2009 will see DubL's debut appearance in Ayia Napa, as well as a US Tour & Asia Tour!!!Back in the UK, DubL runs a recording studio, helping young / up & coming DJs produce and distribute mixtapes.
As well as producing Hip Hop / Reggae tracks, DJ DubL is one of the UK's leading mixtape DJ's & can also be found terrorising radio waves from Essex & London.He is a key member of the infamous 'Nice & Niche' squad (see myspace.com/niceandniche) and throughout 2008/09 Nice & Niche will be touring various different UK cities & towns as well as an international tour to Ayia Napa in 2009.DJ DubL has DJ'd live for & supported some of the UK's finest MC's & Live Acts which include; JME (Boy Better Know), Skepta (Boy Better Know), Skinnyman (Smoking Ban Tour 2007), N-Dubz, Heartless Crew, Damage, Bruno MC & BMC, L.Man...the list goes on!Other affiliates include Radio 1, 1Xtra, MTV Base, Nice & Niche, Twice As Nice, Sun City, Atlantic Records, SonyBMG, Urban Chic & Split 2nd Ents.Thanks for checkin out the profile...peace for 2009!!!
