***********The Busties have played bars, clubs, youth clubs, larger venues, festivals in just about every place on Earth (they've been to). This includes Brussels, Dublin, London, Britanny, Texas and Jodoigne-Souveraine.
The Busties are the proud owners of some rather sexy gear and a certificate attesting to their participation in the 2007 edition of the South by South West Festival in Austin, Texas. Well, no small feat considering that no other Belgians made it there this year (if you're interested in that kind of thing). The Ducks are also gaining some credentials in London, UK, where they played two gigs in April and where their fantabulous second album, DANDYRAMA, was mixed last year by Alan Lee Shaw and Robbie Kelman.

Way back in the early nineties, Adelin, Gaëtan and Laurent formed the backbone of the seminal Mouse's Blood, a juicy mix of savage rock'n'roll, naïve sugary melodies and - no kidding - the odd Afro haircut. They would tour their native Brussels and Walloon Brabant, leaving a trail of joyous, uproarious mayhem in their wake. The party went on for five years, until the band started squabbling about who did what to whom and eventually split up.Restless Laurent soon hit upon the idea of starting up a new band with his then wife, the flamboyant Nathalie. They hooked up with Fredo and Philippe, both from the infamously furious Fucking Ashtrays. Philippe had spent his formative years with the underestimated Just One Shot and had gone on to found Live Museum, still one of the sweetest guitar pop bands ever to have emerged from the Belgian scene. To cut a long story short, these three guys and one doll came together as Piggy Pooh, a surprisingly sexy blend of raw energy, whispered vocals and beastly beats. The party went on for three years, until, well, marital squabbles are better not talked aboutAll the pieces of the puzzle are now in place. Laurent and Philippe have so loved working together and trading tips about clothes and make-up. The lumberjack brothers Adelin and Gaëtan have been polishing their drum'n'bass form at the sawmill. These four cannot wait to get together and make it happen. And - no shit - something does happen. Busty Duck are in an altogether different league. Call it maturity, call it style, call it what you will, when these four are together, the chemistry is palpable.
The band rocks, the songs are strong, with no excess baggage, the singing is brilliant, and, well, it all seems to flow so naturally. Some girls in the audience swoon, some young dudes are so awed they give up their rock'n'roll dreams there and then, some older folk realise they'd never realised they liked guitars on melodies. Something happens. It's Busty Duck.
