Finally something about me!! = ) ------Camila was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and started singing when she was 15 years old. At that time she competed in music festivals, was part of a girls vocal band and performed at amateurs musical plays. When she turned 19, she moved to The United States of America, where she took voice lessons with Northwestern teachers at Evanston, Illinois.
She came back to Brazil and moved to São Paulo in 2003, when se started working professionally as a singer, and started doing some backing vocal jobs. At that time she also joined a group of young singers and dancers in a musical play called Hamlet The Musical, produced by Cultura Inglesa English Course.
In 2004 she started music college and she also studied at IAV (Audio and Video Institute), where she met the renowned DJ Patife. He invited Camila to be part of his new album and she, very pleased, accepted. Together they recorded the song Diariamente, first track of the album called Na Estrada, released in 2006. The song is also part of the album Daslu Bossa & Eletro, an album that brings the best songs that mixed Bossa Nova and Eletronic Music released that year. With Patife, Camila performed at Skol Beats Live Stage, the Latin America biggest event on electronic music that happens every year in São Paulo.
At the same time Camila perfomed at restaurants and parties with other seven singers as a group called A La Garçon, and also was part of a choir called Voz Ativa Madrigal, as a first soprano.
In the end of 2006, she met the Screamheads, a duo of Denmark DJs through My Space.com. They invited Camila to write and produce a song together. This song is called Under the Sun and it was released in March 2007.
