After a devastating year in 2006, which was crippling for the band, the guys are back on their feet with a new member and a fresh new sound.
Spinstill began in early 2003 with 4 guys who loved music, the band consisted of Chad Newman (vocals), Mike Tremblett (guitar), Andrew Lima (bass) and Justin Sousa (drums). After playing countless shows across Ontario for 2 years, the boys became worn down and finding themselves questioning the status of the upcoming band. In that Justin and Andrew decided to go their own ways leaving Chad and Mike pondering their next move. In early 2006 Spinstill found new member Paul Charlebois (guitar) and began searching for a drummer. Not to long after Chad brought in his good friend and fellow Listowel Native Brandon Dekok (drums) to fill the slot. Their first show back was at the well known ROCK THE MILL, as they took the stage, the guys blew the crowd away with a brand new set and a great stage performance!
2007 marks the rebirth of SpinStill, starting things off with a bang at the SOLD OUT LISTOWEL PADDYFEST. The band also plans on releasing their full length album that has been 2 years in the making "The Sky You Knew So Well" in April! Get ready for a brand new SpinStill....
