WONDERWHEEL Recordings was born in the Summer of 2003 in the beautiful borough of Brooklyn, NYC. The vision of the 1st CD "CONEY ISLAND LOVE" was to release music & design inspired from the timeless amusement park & the culturally diverse area of Coney Island & Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. From a childhood of memories, to its current visits, the nostalgic feeling one gets when entering this vibrant place is overwhelming! The 2nd album, "ENDANGERED SPECIES" by Nickodemus, was a an album that was later licensed to ESL Music. "Turntables on the Hudson Volume 6 REMIX" was the 3rd album representing the remixes of our favorite original tunes on the previous compilations of the party. Our 4th CD was an original album by ZEB called "STOP THE EARTH, I WANT TO GET OFF!!" And the latest, "HI STEPPIN" by the Pimps of Joytime, is the first live band project the label has to offer. We have released *18* 12" vinyl records to date and 5 CD’s. Many of our tunes have been used for Television commercials & movies including Sex in the City, Apple’s itunes + ipod, Michelobe and many more...
