Full time musician and currently enrolled in Music Industry Arts at Fanshawe college. I've been at the music game for awhile now. I play guitar, bass and sing full time and I dabble a bit in drums and keys. My ultimate goal is to become a professional performing artist. I have been building a small studio setup for some years now and it has grown to a rather sophisticated setup. I've done countless freelance work for all sorts of independent bands and artists. I've done my fair share of live sound for bands. I've even done some video work including band bios, live band videos and foley and scoring work on the short film entitled "Schism". I am a full time song writer and I have built a respectable catalogue of recordings (that include mostly original works and some covers). I have been in several small time bands and I am currently in "Slow Motion Suicide", playing guitar and lead vocals. I am entering my second year of MIA soon and I plan to take all these skills I've aquired and (with both fingers crossed) successfully take "Slow Motion Suicide" off the ground. When I'm not doing something musical (which tends to be rare these days) I like to snowboard (which in itself has become rare, lol) and getting out there and socializing. Music production can leave you stuck indoors a lot staring at a computer screen!!!!! Its nice to kick back and enjoy some friendly company rocking the bars of London. I definitely like to play sports too.Come check out my band THE VOYD:

My Interests

Music, music, music.......oh and snowboarding. I love playing sports and meeting new people. I'm in to forensics and psychology and other boring subjects of that nature, lol. Movies are sweet, I like to escape sometimes. I am also interested in how film and story telling are in fact done. Ah, I like long walks on the beach, blondes and brunettes and...............on second thought, I got nothing, lol.

I'd like to meet:

Trent Reznor would be a good start. There are many people I find fascinating, so I'll have to get back to ya on that question.

Music:

Pretty well what I do 24/7. I usually put on something that is reflecting my mood at the moment or maybe a song I'm craving at the time. I like rock, alternative, hip hop, industrial, trance, contemporary, dance, retro, etc., etc., etc. I learned to shrug off social stigmas and to appreciate all types of music. There is not much I wouldn't listen to allthough there are definitely songs I like better then others. Check out my current band at myspace.com/enterthevoyd.

Movies:

Fantasy, horror, sports related, powerful dramas.....hell anything that stimulates some sort of emotion and helps me escape reality. Isn't that what films are for? Top 5 (in no particular order): 1. High Fidelity - 2. Lord of the Rings Trilogy - 3. Rules of Attraction - 4. Stargate - 5. Harry Potter Series (ya I said it!!!!). There's many more I love out there. Honourable Mentions: Ginger Snaps 1 - 2, Identity, Momento, Donnie Darko, Lock Stock..., Snatch, Shaun of the Dead, Matrix Trilogy, Spiderman, Batman, X-men........................surprised you made it this far, congrats!!

Television:

No time for the tele. Law and Order, documentary style shows, anything discovery channel, Stargate SG-1 (my one and only real geek moment, but its soooo good), lots of sitcoms, anything funny really. Oh and "Lost", that shit is the crack of television shows!!!

Books:

I don't honestly read for personal enjoyment very much these days. Man, I used to read a lot of college text books on various subjects before I came to Fanshawe. Maybe a few music related tech books too. Now that's all I read, lol!!!! I like Stephen King books, I've read Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. Hell I even read "Brave New World", "I, Robot" and "Neuromancer". One book I do recommend however (for you science and technology fans out there): "Visions" by Michio Kaku. If you are interested in where technology may very well evolve to within the next 200 years, this book is a great read. It was however written in 1997, but its thinking is not out of date.

Heroes:

Trent Reznor, Richard Patrick, Ian Thornley, Noel Gallagher and Moby. The entire MIA faculty and even some of its students. Guess I should mention someone none music related, so.........George Norri and Art Bell of Coast to Coast Am fame, some of the most interesting subjects I've ever heard. I love that paranormal stuff!!
