R FATAL has been in the music game all of his life from a fan to in the industry.My love for music stemz back to when i was a kid.As a youth my
mom's would always play music(Supreme's,Lou Rawls,Donna Summer(too
many),plus my whole family played instrument's I played the trumpet pretty
good too!(1st string AllCity).My first interaction with music in reguard's to
Prod. was "My Box"real head's know about the"PauseTape"(poor man's 4trk)
Me and my brother(Dave)would make these long ass remixes to the hottess
song's out @ the time,then battle to see who made the hotter remix!Between
that and listening to 98Kiss,WBLS,WKTU,WHBI I knew what I wanted to do.
Inspired by the greats like Red Alert,Marley Marl,Latin Rascals,ChuckChillOut
Tony Humphries(too many)From there I started DJing(Thanks Eddy!)After
relentless practice I was blending w/4 turntable's after numerous mixtape's
DJ battle's,Club Dj'in I started to throw my own parties and promoting group's
(NaughtyByNature,GangStarr,L.O.N.S,Lisstte Melendez,Coro too many)After
year's of grinding in the club's I needed a change so I do what most DJ's do
become a producer!People like Mantronix,DiamondD,RickRubin,Pete Rock
Masters@Work,LargeP too many)But my first introduction to a MPC was from
my boy D-Prosper(Senior A&R G-Unit)thanks for letting me learn on your
3000!From there I went on to work w/one of hiphop's legend's K-Solo(thanx Kraze)
Then went to work for a power house mngmnt/marketing company VIOLATOR
(thanks Simone)which aloud me to work alongside such big name artist like MISSY,BUSTA,50cent,LL,MOBB DEEP,FAT JOE,J-LO,NORE ,CANIBUS,WHOO-
KID(too many)But most of all gaining industry expirence working alongside
hip hop's behind the scence heavy weight's like Chris,Mike Lighty,Mona Scott,
James Cruz,Gail Hanson,Troy Carter(too many)From that I am presently
