Skread est un compositeur de Rap/Rnb de 26 ans, originaire de Caen.
Depuis 2004 et la sortie de Panthéon de Booba qui l'a révélé au public avec "Tallac" et "Baby", on a pu le retrouver sur quelques uns des plus gros albums du rap français (Booba, Diams, Rohff, Sinik, etc). En 2006, il a notamment co-produit avec Kilomaitre et Elyo le tube de Diams "La Boulette", élue chanson francophone de l'année aux NRJ Music Awards et nominée aux victoires de la musique en 2007.
Très éclectique, son style caractéristique blindé de mélodies et de grosses basses est un mélange de compositions, de samples et de sonorités électros. Il travaille pour se faire sur MPC 2000XL, expandeurs et plugins.
Skread est aussi co-fondateur du label 7thMagnitude avec son associé Ablaye et a signé depuis peu une co-édition entre son label et Warner Chappell Publishing.
Il travaille actuellement au développement de ses artistes OrelSan (www.myspace.com/Orelsan) et Gringe (www.myspace.com/Gringe7th) ainsi que Imaziren (www.myspace.com/imaziren).
Skread is a 26 year old french Rap/Rnb producer. He's versatile and can produce either club bangers or ghetto hits. He combines his MPC 2000XL with synthes and softwares to create a unique style, made of samples, deep basses and original melodies.
During the past 2 years, he's worked on most of major french artists albums (Booba, Diams, Rohff, Sinik..) which represents a million and a half cds sold. In 2006, he co-produced with Kilomaitre and Elyo the hit single of Diams "La Boulette", that won the "best french song of the year" at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France.
He recently created with his associate Ablaye the record label 7thMagnitude to developp their artists OrelSan (www.myspace.com/Orelsan) and Gringe (www.myspace.com/Gringe7th) as well as Imaziren (www.myspace.com/Imaziren).
Since May 2006, he signed a co-publishing deal between 7thMagnitude and Warner Chappell Publishing.
