I am a big movie buff. I also do weekly updates for theatre movies, DVD's, and video games. I am a big gamer. We will be holding a big XBOX 360 tournament in the fall right here in B-CS, we are looking at the second or third week in September. I am a huge fan of the next gen systems comming out (and I hate to say this, but the 360 and the PS3 are virtually tied when it comes to how good they will be), however, the ridiculous price tag and the shitty games and just the lack of good games too make the PS3 a very tough sell.

Music:
Well I work at a radio station so obviously music is a big deal to me. I love Dave Matthews, Jameroquai, John Mayer, Shinedown, Linkin Park, etc. I am a HUGE blues fan. If you haven't heard of Hamilton Loomis, check him out. He is blues/ funk... but with rock energy. I could go on, but thanks to my job, it'd take WAY to long and I have a very short attn span.
Movies:
I am a huge fan of epic movies. And epic doesn't have anything to do with length if it is really impacting to you. Roots, Unit 93, Gladiator, The Patriot, Braveheart and The Passion of the Christ are all examples of great movies that, if you look deeper, have great messages and emotions in them. I think that makes great movies. Star Wars is a great set of movies, and if people can get past some sour parts of them, has a great story about Father and Son in them that really touches you... especially if you haven't had the best realationship with your dad.
Television:
As far as TV goes, I am not exactly an afficionado. But there are a few shows that I think REALLY stand on their own: Heroes, Burn Notice, Psych, Entourage, Attack of the Show (mmm Olivia Munn), Family Guy and of course... The Colbert Report (with the help of the Daily Show). Most people of my age get their news from these two shows. I think they put great perspective on issues that greatly affect us all and although I will be the first to say laugh at everything. There are things that, after we are done laughing, we should do something about and it is a shame that most people my age don't. We always wait for someone else to do it, and that's not how it works in this world kids.

Heroes:
This may sound dumb to some of you, but hear me out. My hero is Superman. Not because he can fly, or he's indestructible or because of his x-ray vision (although I would give my right nut to do these things). It's because he never has to think about what to do, he always knows what's right and what's not and then he does it without a second thought. That is what we should all aspire to be: Someone who knows right from wrong, despite our inner demons and despite our self-doubt.
