About Me

"The Serpentines" was founded in 2004 by Daniel Voss and Guido Dongowski and since then they worked on the debut album "Remote-controlled" which will soon be finished. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LABEL!
----Daniel Voss was born in Northern Germany in November 1977, having three older brothers who played various instruments, so Daniel started playing the piano at the age of 5. During the following 10 years he was educated in classic, jazz and pop piano and in his teenage years he additionally started playing keyboards, guitars, bass guitar and several percussion instruments.
After having collected his first experience with electronic instruments from his brothers` synthesizers he started playing in a number of alternative/grunge/punkrock bands named "Brownie Mud", "Molloy" and "Throatcoat", being influenced of bands like The Pixies, Chokebore, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Bad Religion, Sensefield, Faith no more, Massive Attack,Depeche Mode, etc.
At the age of 20 Daniel started his first electronic music project "Weathertunes" with his brother Roland Voss and then participated on most of the "Lemongrass" albums. In the last few years Daniel founded two further music projects:
"Green Empathy" and "The Serpentines".
