Sounds Like: classic material is what it sounds like. wide variety of lyrical styles and production. Constantly new and growing. "They Want Effects"-Das Efx. 1stAlbum-Dead Serious. I stole this album from Longs Drugs. An album that pulled me deeper into many hip hop adventures and dreams. "Respiration" by Black Star. Mos Def & Talib Kweli feat. Common Sense. This song and video demonstrate pinnacle hip hop artistry. Catchin the essence of heavier shades of city life. Beat is top notch. Flow, wordplay, content.......top notch. "Check It Out"-Das Efx. 2nd Album-Straight Up Sewaside. Dopest song ever. Dopest hip hop album ever. I probably wouldn't have learned to emcee and produce without this album. I played this song so many times back n the day I'm not too surprised at what happened next. "Recognized Thresholds Of Negative Stress"-The BoogieMonsters. Album-Riders Of The Storm. This album was very inspirational to me. Great album. "Real Hip Hop"-Das Efx. Album-No Diggity. Nowadays anything this dope is way way underground.
