If I could plan a dinner party and invite a few folks over I'd start with Bob Costas. He's such a great story teller and his love of sports would be a natural for me. He's been a part of so many historic moments. I'd add Roger Staubach to my table as well. I've done a lot of research as part of one of my latests books. He's a unique individual and a decent man. Jon Stewart would make my list as well. Not only is he a smart fellow but he's very funny too. To keep him company I'd invite Dane Cook. I find him amusing as you might suspect. I'd invite Joel Osteen. He touches me whenever I watch him and we'd have one great "before we eat" prayer. I'd want Dr. Oz there. For the woman's perspective first I'd invite Meryl Streep. She's very funny and so accomplished . I'd also like to listen to Maya Angelou for a while. If I could include those who have passed..Cary Grant makes my list. I'd like to spend some time with Peter Jennings. I'd like to meet my Grandparents parents. To meet the beautiful Della I've heard so much about. I'd love to meet Marcella. I'd do anything to be able to thank her for raising such a great son for me to love. I don't think I'd talk much..I think I'd rather sit back and enjoy the show...

I'm a fan of all types of Music. My extensive CD and album collection is without a doubt full of range. I'm always on the lookout for new stuff but have a soft spot in my heart for the 80's. I also like what my husband calls "La" songs. You know the ones that make you dance when no one else is around...
I love going to the movies. I like comedies above all else but sometimes like a good drama. Who doesn't love a good cry.My favorite movie is Big Chill.I like old Cary Grant movies. Since my husband will watch the romantic comedy for me I gladly watch "boy" movies with him. It's all about the company. :)CLICK HERE TO GET A NEW CURSOR!

I'm a writer so reading is not only a great joy but a necessity. I enjoy reading non-fiction more than fiction. I'm always looking to learn something new. I like autobiographical books. I like Robin Cook. I'll give anything a shot as long as it has substance. No romance novels for me. I'll live it instead.
I have many hero's. My mom who never had an easy life yet somehow put five kids ahead of her own needs..even when we didn't always deserve it. Any one who chooses to put their lives in danger for the benefit of everyone else. To every one who's serving in the Army, Navy, Air force and Marines, to every police and fireman. There is no thanks big enough. To every parent who does the best for their child, but especially those who have special needs kids. A typical parent knows her child will talk. A special needs parent might wait a lifetime for one word. A typical parent knows that if they instill good values to their kids that they will someday be able to take care of themselves. A special needs parent wonders who will look after my child after I'm gone. My husband is my hero. He makes all the phone calls I don't want to.He pumps my gas. He deals with the AC guy and the mechanics so I dont' have to and he loves me unconditionally. Andrew is my hero for every day leaving this house as an Autistic adult and dealing with a world that isn't easy for even the toughest of us and yet manages to get to and from work. He's amazing.
