GRACIE

GRACIE has done a lot for a ten-year-old, but her favorite project is currently in production - her debut CD titled "It's My Time". She recorded the rockin' "I'm A Kid" with Casey Desmond guitarist & engineer, Taylor Barefoot. The song was played on the "Tomorrow's Dreams" radio show for new artist on 95.9 FM in Massachusetts, the Gooney Bird Kids children's radio show on Live365 out of Atlanta, GA - and on the Soupy Gato internet radio show, making GRACIE the youngest singer to appear on the show. Her music video for "I'm A Kid" is up on this site as well as on YouTube - www.youtube.com/heresgrace - Her uncle Jarrett Simon produced & directed the video, with Blu Nordgren editing. The rest of the tracks on GRACIE's CD draw together a multitude of talents, including guitarist Tony Savarino (The Montgomerys, World's Greatest Sinners) and drummer Mike Levesque (David Bowie, Dave Navarro, Susan Tedeschi). Tony Savarino is also producing. The CD is now being recorded at the acclaimed Moontower Studios in Cambridge, engineered by Darren Ottaviani, keyboardist for The Plain Janes. All of GRACIE's songs are written by her mom, Robin Brodsky. In addition to singing, GRACIE was a print model for the Limelight Studios ad campaign, which was featured in the Boston Parent's Paper & is currently on their website (check out her pics to see the ad!!). She has acting experience too ... working as an extra in the Showtime TV series "Brotherhood", a Six Flags commercial, and an industrial video on health & fitness called "How Much Is Too Much". She is also featured as "The Kid" in The Octave Museum's music video "Kid Defender", starring her singer/guitarist cousin, Stephen Brodsky. Her stage credits include "The Jungle Book" and "Cinderella". She has taken years of dance classes, and has done cheerleading clinics with high school cheerleaders (where she performed with them at two half-time shows). Her favorite pop star is Miley Cyrus, her favorite band is The Jonas Brothers (she got to see both in concert!!). She likes Nick the best. She loves school, and her favorite subject is science, because she finds it interesting. GRACIE wants to give a big SHOUT OUT on Myspace to all her family, friends, and fans!! Especially her big sister Hayley.
