Raised in NYC, Ira Levi hails from a talented musical family. His father is legendary Jazz/Pop vocalist Sam Fletcher ("I'd Think It Over Twice") and his siblings include gospel's hottest new artist Gina Fletcher ("I Am Healed"), famed Death row vocalist Nanci Fletcher ( "Keep Tha Heads Ringin") and promoter/producer Courtney Fletcher.
2008 brings Ira new opportunities. The buzz started in 2007 when
"Let The Children Dance!" was rated among the top 3 dance songs to watch for by About.com. The song was inspired by the deaths of 15-year old Scharod Fleming and other young victims of homicide.
