Well, I teach dance, choreograph for music theatre, perform on occasion, and work from home as a graphic designer. I aim to hit the gym a couple times a week, (love yoga/pilates and resistance training) but sometimes life gets in the way. I blare my music whenever in my car and sing along as loud as I'm feelin' at the moment. I wear a lot of pink though not in that irritatingly cute way, I cook a LOT cuz I love it though never with anything related to animals, I'm a sucker for vegan chocolate and crave distraction during my working hours. (hence why I'm here)
I guess I'm looking for folks that don't take all this too seriously and just want some fun and escape! I'm usually surrounded in artsy types, hockey fans, chefs, musicians, etc... Really though, anything goes. :-)
Changes rapidly...currently in my car is The Killers, Ben Folds, White Cowbell Oklahoma, Green Day, Jack Johnson, and Pearl Jam. When I'm working I love old jazz like Etta James and Billie Holiday, but usually end up back with Holly Cole, who's been there through some major life changing times with me! When I'm dancing it's a whole different story. :) Yes, as an actor I do have quite the collection of show tunes, but only for work purposes...I can't just "listen" to them.
Anything PT Anderson, Christopher Guest or Tim Burton. I've been in a bunch myself but it's tacky to list those as my faves, wouldn't you say? Plus most of them are nothing to be proud of (hahahaha).
Lately mostly hockey...and news. Sometimes I catch Ugly Betty and it cracks me up.
Just started reading Fast Food Nation, which has been on my list for months. My other backlogged reading includes the last two Harry Potter books, Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth (I flipped through but that's about it) and at least 6 months of back issues of Rolling Stone and Elle Canada. Hoping to make more time for reading this year...
Anyone who has successfully figured out how to balance "it all". I sure as shit haven't...
