THOUGHTS OF AXYSS
The world we live in is insufficiently equipped to deal with a large number of possible futures. We are too easily enraged by those of minor difference to us, we are too unthinking of our poorer and less fortunate brothers and sisters, but most of all, we believe in an invisible dictator, or many invisible dictators, who do nothing but point their hypocritical and evil fingers at us, the logical. They would send us to a place of infinite suffering for the smallest morsel of disobedience and keep us there forever. They would send out their messages in garbled riddles so that every one of our six billion strong race can infer different conclusions from them as to what they want us to do. And, of course, they never have the common sense to show themselves, to prove they exist so that we can believe them, yet we are supposed to believe that they would give us free will and punish us for using it. I am, first and foremost, a supporter of continued human existence. For that, we must progress; discard nonsensical beliefs, respect each others differences, crack the M-Theory to gain more support for our cause, and most importantly, divert attention away from those of us who would have us kill people without an all-powerful being steering their life. But we must do this carefully.
Now for a bit about me. Politically, I have nothing more to say than simply "THE SYSTEM DOESN’T WORK". We should not have to earn our right to survive. No other animal does. We need a system where money doesn’t play a part and to do that we have to progress. Scientifically. Logically.
Which brings me to my next topic: religion. I am an atheist and proud of it, and you will never convert me, not even on my deathbed. I even think it’s sick that people do that to the dying. I would discourage religion to anyone unsure of where to turn or what to think. But more importantly I’d encourage someone in that position to read Wikipedia articles, to look on YouTube, to find things which will help you define your beliefs without, if possible, allowing what people say to influence you. Think for yourself.
I don’t believe there is a meaning of life. Rather, I make one up. Also, I don’t believe in the afterlife. Life just stops. If that worries you just think about this: what does a blind person experience? What does a deaf person experience? Attribute these individual questions to all five senses at the same time and that is what death is. Yet blind people can be happy, deaf people can be happy. I became cool with that fact months ago. Fear of death leads to religion. It almost definitely created it in the first place.
Here’s my single strongest belief: DIFFERENCE EQUALS HATE. Think about it. Racism, religion, sexism, war, even debates. They all conform under this theory. We like people who are the same as us, yet an obsession with this drives us to exclude others. I have experienced this many times, and so have many others. There is a phrase that says: "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down." If you are that nail, by reading this, you have learned that you are not alone.
My music brings my thoughts to another level. As of yet, I would only use "The Vine" in my pro career, should one ever come up. But if you agree with me and want things to change, let people hear my music, not for me, money and fame, but for everything we hold dear, everything we could lose tomorrow. This world needs someone to stand against it. By joining me you are not walking behind me as a loyal fan, rather, you are my equal and my friend. Thank you, all who do.
