Roy Vogt

Nashville-based bassist and composer

About Me

A 25 year veteran of the Nashville Music Industry, Roy stepped out and recorded and released Simplicity in 2003 with a little help from friends like Victor Wooten, Chester Thompson, Dave Weckl, T Lavitz, Shane Theriot, Stan Lassiter, Jeff Coffin and many other talented Studio and Jazz Players in the Nashville and Los Angeles Music Scenes. He's currently working on the follow up CD and putting together a touring unit to promote both recordings. In the interim, Simplicity can be downloaded from I-tunes or purchased from a number of outlets via Roy's website-www.royvogt.com Roy is also writing a monthly column for the Eden Electronics website at www.eden-electronics.com as well as the Head of the Bass Department at Belmont University, Nashville, TN.
