About Me

Patinka Cha Cha and The Thimble Orchestra play an ambient mix of Jazz and Noise with the pop sensibility of Post Rock. Combing the structured and effected guitar compositions with the percussive elements of broken cymbals and Tom drum. There has been a recent addition of Beat Boxing, Vocals, and occasional Glockenspiel.

Sounds Like: Early in the 19th century, women working in the begrimed streets of England, participated in sewing garments for the upper crust gentles of Victorian times. Thus, to allay the dreary grey reality of London life, escaped by creating music through the tools at hand. Intriguingly, amazing sounds were produced with cups and saucers while the percussive drones of twine and sewing machines hummed in the background.
