Well im Carly Rockett and i love music,everything about it i love really ,writing songs ,playing my songs ,listening to other peoples music,going to gigs.I completed a 2 year Music National Diploma course at Brooklands College in Weybridge last year and its been invaluable to me.Ive been playing guitar for about 8 years now and ive found my own little way of playing,although my guitar playing is changing all the time as i find new inspiration.I have a tanglewood acoustic guitar which is my favourite to perform with and write songs with,i also have a fender mustang which i used alot more at college.I also have a quite nice set of vocal chords,i have been compared to alanis morrisette although i think over the past year i have found more of my own voice and how to use it better.
Ive been featured on Southern Counties radio station this year as part of their demo panel,also have played live on Surrey Uni's radio station GU2 which was great fun and hopefully alot more doors will open up for me this year.
At the moment im just concentrating on my music while on a gap year.I am writing new material,recording and will be gigging lots more too
The songs i have up are ones i recorded at home myself with just a mic really and a very unreliable pc.
