About Me

Came to Japan in 1992 to study Aikido for a few months. I was enjoying myself, so stayed another three months. Found out I could extend my visa for another six. Got offered a job. A few jobs, an ex-wife (the current Mrs. Hoon is a MAJOR improvement!), and a LOT of beer later, here I am in Japan with a day job (computers), my own tattooing and piercing studio, a mortgage, a dog, four ferrets, a truck and a motorcycle, and a cute l'il kid who's just had heart surgery and looks to be all fixed, we hope. Life is tough, but it's good.
