Profile GeneratorDecibel started in 1994 in Venezuela, under another name which had a only two of the current band members (José G. Torres, Jesús Torres), it followed a grunge wave. In 1995 the band was altered; Jonathan Benjamin (Vocalist), José Inciarte and Carlos Polanco entered. With this Change and two Vocalists, The Band moves toward a hard rock tendency, debuting for the first time in ¨Rock & Petroleo¨.
Consequently after several presentations the band changed its name to Decibel by mutual accordance of the band members, to project an image of power and energy in the music. In late 1995 Jonathan Benjamin decided to leave the band. At this moment Decibel replants its style manipulating elements of a myriad musical tendencies (Neo-Thrash, Hard Metal, Industrial and Eclectic Music).
At the end of 1997, Decibel had established their song list, of 16 songs composed by the band, and after planning its recording in the middle of the year the bassist Edgar Naveda decides to leave the band. Decibel now as in search of a new member, by these means, Freddy Quero (Ex-Bassist of Naranja Mecanica) enters the band, This event was the last change in the band, till current times, Decibel work towards recording their first office production, and then BioSystem Hi-Fi came to life, a 12 song recording that grab the attention of many people in Vzla.
After a stage of a very important musical development for the band, decibel returns to the studio at the end of 2003 to shape a sample of its new material and musical direction, Midi-Chlorian was created, a Promotional EP produced by Joshu and Roberto Rincon with 3 new subjects with which the band wanted to give to a sneak peek of the sound that decibel had reached.
2004, After Two Official Recordings, Decibel moved to USA where they plan to start as a new band with a fresh music approach..
