Music is everything, is cool to always have a melody in your head that will help you smile or reflect yor inner feelings wherever you go, song writing is on of my hobbies. Computers and business is just a means to reach my goal of living the "happy" life and not worrying about how much things cost, so that's why I enjoy making money... to invest, gain interest and then spend it like I don't care. I do some web design, but that's an old story for me.
I want to meet happy people, people who dedicate themselves to work hard for their own lifes but also like to have fun. People who are capable of forgiving and understanding we are all humans. People who are faithful, believe in god but don't wait on miracles to happen, instead work for their own miracles. People who think of bad experiences as beneficial for their understanding of life and make them a new lesson learned in life. In addition, people who like reggae, cumbia, latin rythms, caribean rythms or similar influences.
I used to like one kind of music only, alternative rock, etc... then my interests changed after I realized the environment I live in... Miami, so now I'm into the wansoun (one sound) movement, the mix of all genres into something that reflects our inner emotions... Some of those genres include reggae, colombian and argentinian cumbia, techno, trance, dance, r&b, pop, rock, and most other weird, perhaps foreign influences.... Bands I listen to the most are Last Summer, my brother's band, ( www.myspace.com/lastsummermusic ), Locos por Juana, Xperimento, Papashanty, Negus Nagast, King Chango, Desorden Publico, Los Amigos Invisibles, OfUs, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Eminem, Bob Marley, Taylor and 9th, Natiruts, Cold Play, plus most of what's on the top 100 songs...
As well as in music, the type of movie doesn't mean i'm going to like it so I like whatever keeps me in suspense or in my seat... some of these are good: horror, drama, action, comedy, independent films, foreign films, romance... However, there's just one movie I'm never going to forget, it's called: City of God, so far the best freaking foreign movie I've ever seen.
I hardly ever watch TV anymore, but some of the classics for me are The Simpsons, Full House ("Tres por Tres" in spanish), Married with Children, Futurama amongst other, unfortunately I don't have much time to watch TV anymore but that's a good thing too because then I would problably get addicted and get a worst shape than the one I already have...
One hundred years of solitude (The spanish version), El Tunel, The Da Vinci Code, Como mandar a la gente al carajo ("How to send people to hell" this book is only in spanish as far as I know), Chickensoup for the anything... Business books, Computer books, self improvement books, I can't remember the names of all I've read :) May sound weird but I also like to read textbooks, yeah college textbooks, but if I just had more time to read them would be cool.
People who stood up for their beliefs and defended them (most) to death... Jesuchrist, Joseph Smith (Mormon leader), Martin Luther King, Simon Bolivar, Bob Marley, My grandfather. And anyone else who dedicates themselves to bring peace and happiness into this world. It's easier to make wars than peace so that's why I support those who are all about peace... If I'm missing anyone, please let me know.
