Rae's is the best. My grandfather used to take me here for pancakes & coffee.
I started my life in South Pasadena with mom, dad and brother Dante but my mom divorced my dad and we moved to Venice, then Santa Monica aka DOGTOWN...the hole. My life was less than glamourous growing up, but I wouldn't change a thing. Well, maybe a few things but I did survive. I moved to Portland with my new baby where I went to college(computer programming), then moved to the Seatlle area went to college again (Graphic Arts) and decided to raise my daughter in Seattle and now, "I'm ba-aack". I am starting a new business venture as a Farmers Agent here in Santa Monica.
My handsome father aka "Sapo"
He was a stud...had 11 of us, but quit when he got to perfection! Yea, that was me.
The woman who brought me into this world.

"I came to a point where I needed solitude and to just stop the machine of 'thinking' and 'enjoying' what they call 'living,' I just wanted to lie in the grass and look at the clouds..." -Kerouac

I'd like to meet:

Beautiful people, fun people, cultured people, compassionate people, different people, fabulous people, great hearts people, ethnically wonderful people, intellegent people, non-judgemental people, unique people and most of all "real people".
I would like to get together with old friends and people who play Pickleball, long distance cyclysts, hikers, runners.
At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want. (lao tzu)

Music:

I own a plethora of music and I am not tied down to one genre. What I listen to really depends on my mood, what mood I want to get into or what I'm doing and music always has to be there. My iPod is my best friend. I love drums/percussion. The more drums the better! I'd say my top favorite type of music is Flamenco and Rock Ballads. Hans Zimmer ¤ Yanni ¤ Loreena McKennit ¤ Ottmar Liebert ¤ Rush ¤ Scorpions ¤ Def Leppard ¤ Ray Charles ¤ to name a few.

Movies:

I prefer live performances but for movies my favorites are: Life is Beautiful ¤ Gladiators ¤ Oh Brother where art thou ¤ Shrek ¤ the Sandlot ¤ a Nightmare Before Christmas ¤ Edward scissorhands ¤ Drumline ¤ Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon ¤ anything with Jackie Chan ¤ All Austin Powers ¤ Drop Dead Fred ¤ Romeo & Juliet ¤ Don Juan de Marco ¤ What's eating Gilbert Grape ¤ Spanglish ¤ the Da Vinci Code ¤ Grease ¤ Pearl Harbor ¤

Television:

"KILL YOUR TV...SAVE YOURSELF NOW!!!" I really dislike the lazy-makin box, can you tell? But I do like to watch Friends ¤ Malcolm in the middle ¤ Discovery Channel...I'm thinking...

Books:

I always start to read them but never finish. I fall asleep when reading and they don't seem to keep my attention long enough. I actually read from beginning to end "Master of the Game" by Sidney Sheldon. I do like to read my Philosophy books and of course my life saving "You can heal your life" by Louise Hay. Feel free to make suggestions on a good read.
This is the cutest book!

Heroes:

Maceo Fuller (deceased) ¤ Mashanda ¤ Rick C. ¤ Greg K. Why? Because they changed my life and I am forever greatful!
